The Neighbourhood

Step outside and West London opens up. The Natural History Museum, V&A, and Science Museum are all within 15 minutes on foot — free to enter and among the finest institutions in the world. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are ten minutes north. Harrods and Knightsbridge are a pleasant walk east. In addition, the village streets of South Kensington — French brasseries, independent cafés, boutiques — are a short stroll away. Chelsea and the King’s Road are walkable to the south.

Knaresborough Place itself is a quiet residential street developed in the 1870s, and Nestor has thoughtfully refurbished the building to preserve its Victorian character while adding every modern comfort, including air conditioning throughout.

Getting Around London

Earl’s Court station (District and Piccadilly lines) is a three-minute walk — so Victoria is 10 minutes away, the West End is 15, and Heathrow Airport is around 35 minutes on the direct Piccadilly line. Furthermore, Gloucester Road station is ten minutes on foot and adds further connections. You can reach Paddington and Victoria without changing trains.

Harrods and Knightsbridge are an easy stroll east, and South Kensington’s restaurants and cafés are just around the corner.
