Features and Amenities

Welcome to The Courtfield in Earl’s Court!

The Courtfield by Nestor offers beautifully refurbished serviced apartments in a grand 19th-century period building on Courtfield Gardens, London SW5 — one of the most elegant residential squares in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Steps from the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and Hyde Park, and minutes from Gloucester Road station and Earl’s Court station, The Courtfield is the ideal London base for couples, solo travellers, families, and anyone who wants to stay somewhere with genuine period character and a seriously good location. Five apartments — studios to a one-bedroom — each designed to feel like a proper Kensington home, not simply a serviced room.

London’s Cultural Quarter — and One of Its Most Elegant Addresses

Step outside and the Natural History Museum‘s famous terracotta facade is visible within eight minutes on foot. The Victoria & Albert Museum and Science Museum are equally close — all free to enter, all among the finest institutions in the world. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens lie to the north, offering over 240 hectares of parkland, the Serpentine Gallery, and the Diana Memorial Fountain. Harrods and Knightsbridge are a pleasant walk east. Kensington High Street and the Royal Albert Hall are ten minutes away. The village-like streets of South Kensington — French brasseries, independent cafés, boutiques — are a short stroll. Chelsea and the King’s Road are easily walkable to the south. Courtfield Gardens was laid out in the 1870s, at the height of Victorian London’s most ambitious residential expansion. The Natural History Museum, the V&A;, the Science Museum, and the Royal Albert Hall were all built in the same decade as this building — and the neighbourhood’s cultural identity has held ever since. The Courtfield has been fully refurbished to bring that Victorian character into the present: original period details preserved, every modern comfort and technology added.

Space for Every Stay

Our Earl’s Court serviced apartments are fully equipped: open-plan living areas, kitchens with hob, oven, microwave and fridge, Smart TV, fast WiFi, washing machine, and Noble Isle vegan sustainable toiletries.

  1. Studio Standard — A well-appointed studio with a double bed and fully equipped kitchen. Clean, comfortable, and ideal for solo guests or couples wanting a stylish, cost-effective base in SW5.
  2. Deluxe Studio — A more spacious studio with a luxurious double bed and thoughtfully considered interiors. Feels like a proper Kensington apartment rather than a serviced room.
  3. Superior Studio, Lower Ground — A bright lower ground apartment with a plush double bed and sofa bed — the most versatile studio option for extended stays or guests who need a little extra flexibility.
  4. Studio, Lower Ground — A cosy, cleverly designed ground-level studio. Quiet, private, and fully equipped — a great option for guests who want their own corner of the building.
  5. One-Bedroom Apartment — The flagship apartment at The Courtfield. A separate bedroom with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen — ideal for families or small groups of up to three. The most spacious and flexible option in the building.

Seamless Stays — For Guests Who Know What They Want

Every apartment features a smart lock with a unique access code for your stay — check-in on your own schedule, no key collection, no fixed arrival window. The building has lift access to all floors. QR codes throughout each apartment let you arrange breakfast delivery from a local café, request mid-stay cleaning, or book an airport transfer in seconds. Our local Nestor team is available 24/7 by phone, text, or WhatsApp.

The Courtfield welcomes guests who care about where they stay: a building with genuine period character, a neighbourhood worth exploring on foot, and the kind of quiet elegance that only a Victorian garden square can offer. Whether you’re here for the museums, for business, for a family trip, or simply because SW5 is one of the finest postcodes in London — this is a home worth coming back to.
