The Thomas Cubitt on Elizabeth Street, fifteen minutes on foot, handles the reliably excellent gastropub lunch — a handsome threefloor pub named after the builder who constructed most of Belgravia, with a first-floor dining room that earns its consistently strong reputation.

The independent cafés along Pimlico Road are also worth knowing for an afternoon stop — the French brasserie feel that characterises this part of SW1 extends to the afternoon, and there are several good options without having to name one specifically.
A grand all-day Parisian brasserie on Sloane Square — equally good for a set lunch, an afternoon coffee, or a pastry on the terrace. One of the most reliably excellent stops within walking distance of The Warwick.
