West London’s biggest food festival: Taste of London

Kicking off with one of the best annual West London events, the Taste of London Festival is back this June, with some 55,000 hungry revellers due to descend on Regent’s Park.

This much-loved celebration of the best food and drink in the UK brings London’s hottest chefs and restaurants for a five-day, flavour-fuelled giant garden party. From street food vendors to pop up restaurants and cooking demonstrations to masterclasses from the biggest names in London’s culinary scene, there’s plenty to see, do and, of course, eat at Taste of London.

But it’s not just about exploring boundaries of flavour – the festival is packed with non-edible entertainment too! With live music, cocktail-making classes, DJs, food and drink stalls and an experimental juice bar – ideal for young festivalgoers – the fun goes way beyond just your last bite!

Family-friendly fun at The Surrey Food Festival

Trying to track down the best West London food festivals for the whole family to enjoy? You’ll find The Surrey Food Festival in Richmond hard to beat. Starting back in 2016, The Surrey Food Festival was the first of the Local Food Festival events that have since gone on to include The Middlesex Food Festival and Chilli & Beer Festivals.

There’s a real focus on local businesses at The Surrey Food Festival, with a unique range of food and drinks available to try in the Marketplace. Meanwhile, wannabe chefs can pick up some great tips and tricks from the best in the business inside the demonstration marquee. Here, festivalgoers can also listen to a range of industry talks and, of course, try some exquisite flavours during tasting sessions.

If you’re wondering what will keep the younger family members entertained while you eat your way around the festival, the dedicated Kid Zone has you covered. With a selection of fairground rides, bouncy castles, body zorbs and even an obstacle course, you’ll be able to relax knowing your little ones are having the time of their lives.

And, to top off one of the best events in West London, there’s even a main stage with a full line-up of musical performances over the course of both days.
